I’ve made a few changes in the online presence this week:
- The caching nightmare that was introducing you to the fire ant post as the last time I have “done my civic duty” is now resolved to the best of my abilities. If my host would like me to solve their problems, it’s considered appropriate to hire the engineer first. Call me if you’d like to do this right. I’m expensive.
- The Playlist for Season 4 was marked private for some reason. It has been changed to Public.
- We have moved to Season 5. The seasons are now corresponding with the last digit of the year. We’re going to keep it that way (e.g. Season 5 is 2025, Season 6 is 2026, etc).
- I completed my office move at home and have dedicated a computer to editing. It’s my fastest one, with an i7 and 32GB of memory. It’s running Ubuntu like a good little Linux computer and doesn’t cause KdenLive to crash while I am editing. I have two younger i5s that choke on transcodes and crash CivBE.
